Calm in Nature
Return home to yourself
Guided forest bathing and wellness walks.
Welcome to Calm in Nature! I'm Andy, a certified forest bathing leader , and I run forest bathing sessions and nature connection walks in Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. What exactly is forest bathing and nature connection? Put simply, it is time for you to slow down, to move from the chatter of the thinking mind into the senses and to really immerse yourself in nature. To absorb the stillness and calm that surrounds us when we really notice what's going on here and now. The gentle scent of the trees warmed by the sun, or the slow gliding of a falling leaf to the ground. Things that on a normal walk we might not notice, but are proven to help improve our health and wellbeing when we take time to really to return home to our still inner selves.
About
I'm Andy, I am a certified forest bathing guide, qualified Reiki practitioner and Quantum Human Design specialist.I have had a lifelong fascination with how nature positively affects our wellbeing, and mental health. Before studying as a forest bathing guide, I always instinctively took myself and others to the woods whenever a reset from the chaos of everyday life was needed. Afterwards, for several days later, I always noticed how I felt like myself again, and knew there was something more to this. I grew to feel that I wanted to be able to help guide others to feel the same benefits.
And so for the past few years my curiosity too me to learning about trees and their folklore & mythology, indigenous wisdom and eventually a certified course on forest bathing.
